CMA Awards

This is a week late, but better late then never I guess! Anyway I thought it was pretty good. I wish Dierks Bentley had gotten to perform, rather then just present an award. And even though I was happy for Taylor Swift winning the Horizon award, I was really hoping it'd go to Jason Aldean.

And I think I was the only one not surprised when Sugarland bet Brooks and Dunn for duo of the year. Brooks and Dunn are good, but they aren't as hip and new as Sugarland.
Rascal Flatts winning group was no surprise of course, though I was hoping if they didn't, Emerson Drive would win.

I was really hoping that Emerson Drive would win video of the year. I love Emerson Drive and I'd love to see them win something like a CMA.

Carrie Underwood of course, was no surprise winning vocal and single of the year.

I didn't really want Brad Paisley to win Male vocal. I like Brad Paisely, but I was hoping Josh Turner would win. I like Josh Turner a lot more and like Emerson Drive, I'd love to see him win a CMA or an award that big.

The perfomances were good too. I fast forwarded through a lot in the interst of time, but I did watch Miranda Lambert singing Gunpowder And Lead, Taylor Swift singing "Our Song,"
Jason Aldean (Of course) singing "Johnny Cash,"

Oh and Entainer of the year. I wasn't surprised one bit when Kenny Chesney win. I really like pretty much everyone in that catorgory. But I think probably Kenny deserved it the most.

This is the title track from Jason Aldean's Relentless cd. It's defintely one of the best songs (Of course they are ALL good.) on the cd. I love this part of the sang the most, I think the lyrics are just beautiful. I listen to this one a ton, and always on full blast. =)
I really hope that when Jason Aldean releases another single, it's this one, though I do LOVE Laughed Until We Cried.

New Look

Like the new look? Mostly I just updated things. I changed my list of favorite songs, and changed the picture and header. Yep, Jason Aldean. =)
The template is basically tempriary at the moment, to match my Jason Aldean pictures. I may or may not change it back, depending on how I like it.

Watching Airplanes

I finally for the first time heard Watching Airplanes, Gary Allan's new single, on the radio! They also debuted the video for it last Thursday on CMT, though I've yet to see it since then. It's also #23 on the billboard charts! If you haven't heard it go to www.garyallan.com or www.cmt.com and watch the video. It's a really great song, so I defintely reccomend you check it out! Also request it on your own radio station and help it move up the charts!
